Role: Project Management Consultant & System Designer
Throughout the past few years of working with ecoTHRIVE, I have made significant contributions in a variety of areas of their work. With my background in architecture, I have leveraged my expertise in multifamily design and development to support the creation of ecoTHRIVE's pilot project (27 new homes in Burien, WA). My roles have spanned different circles (committees) within the organization, where I have tailored my services to meet evolving needs.
In the Stewardship & Strategy Circle, I have fostered digital collaboration and guided sociocratic processes. By providing resources and maintaining the digital infrastructure, I have empowered efficient decision-making and seamless communication within the community. As a leader in the Built Environment Circle, I have guided the team in visioning, community-engaged design, architect and engineer support, and programming, thereby contributing to the development of the Pilot Village.
Within the Outreach & Resident Circle, I have managed ecoTHRIVE's social media presence, effectively communicating the organization's mission and engaging the community. Additionally, I have played a pivotal role in creating the resident pathway, bridging community engagement with infrastructure development. In the Finance Circle, I have overseen financial management tasks, ensuring transparency and accountability through bookkeeping, budget administration, and detailed reporting.
As a member of the General Circle, I have facilitated board meetings, aligning activities with strategic objectives. Throughout my work at ecoTHRIVE, I have demonstrated strategic thinking, creativity, and a profound commitment to the community's vision. Additionally, I have utilized digital collaboration tools such as Airtable and Stacker to streamline and enhance ecoTHRIVE's workflow. These tools have centralized project management, improved communication, and empowered collaboration across the organization.
By integrating digital collaboration tools into ecoTHRIVE's operations, I have revolutionized the way work is conducted, saving time, fostering transparency, and promoting efficiency. Through my proficiency in Airtable and Stacker, I have created dynamic workspaces, customized web interfaces, and user-friendly systems that have streamlined processes and facilitated seamless data management.
